Transfer & Distribution Manager


The Opportunity

Save the Children is inviting applications from suitably qualified person to fill the position of Transfer & Distribution Manager for Titukulane Programme based in Zomba. The position Holder will have a reporting matrix to Titukulane Chief of Party. S/he will oversee all activities, processes and procedures related cash transfers the project intends to implementation. The incumbent will ensure project targets are met in compliance with USAID/FFP regulations and as stipulated in the cooperate agreement with the Prime. The position will supervise the Transfer & Distribution Officer. Both of the positions i.e. the Transfer & Distribution Manager and the Transfer & Distribution Officer will be based at the Program Management Unit in Zomba. the Transfer & Distribution Manager shall be responsible for providing leadership in the implementation of cash transfers in TITUKULANE project across Zomba District.  In liaison with Chief of Party s/he will plan and oversee the implementation of cash transfers.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • Minimum of a Degree in Logistics, Social studies, Development studies or relevant field. Those with Masters will have an added advantage.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with over 5 years’ practical experience in an appropriate Development related field such as Agricultural Sciences, Community Development, Rural Development, Development Studies, Social Science or Project Management.
  • Be familiar with implementation of USAID funded projects and donor regulations.
  • Be familiar with Commodity Management in USAID funded projects.
  • Must have evidence of experience at mid-level implementing USAID funded projects
  • A self-starter.
  • Familiarity and compliance to Save the Children’s Values and work ethics.
